Edita just called. They will stay at camp two for now. The winds were too high last night so they will play it safe and stay at the camp 2 for now because with such high winds, it is too dangerous. She said they are all just laying low, laying down in sleeping bags, sleeping with low oxygen on. Glad they are cautious. She sounded good and patient, they want to get it right with no one getting frozen and have the energy to get up to the top AND back down safely. Whew!

Ouch, tough work with another night at C2 – the mountain is making the junkies work hard this year! Got my fingers crossed for the weather window tomorrow.
Stay low and wait the weather out…sounds like a great idea, especially with high winds like you have described. Got my fingers crossed for great weather tomorrow as well.
Good luck up there Edita!
Congratulations Edita, I have enjoyed following your progress Cheers Kate
